PADI ADVANCED COURSE

Move up and experience real adventure with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. As you step beyond the PADI Open Water Diver level, you are required to make five dives and have the opportunity to try some of diving's most rewarding and useful specialty activities, such as deep diving, drift diving, navigation and much more. These skills make diving much more than underwater sightseeing. Plus, the Advanced Open Water Diver course takes you one step closer to Master Scuba Diver - the ultimate non professional certification in recreational diving.

During this course classroom time is kept to a minimum as the emphasis of this course is on practical application of dive theory.

Prerequisites

• You must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation.
• Minimum age 15 (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)
• Completion of medical questionnaire
• Completion of scuba review if not been diving within the past 6 months.

Course Structure

• Completion of knowledge reviews in students own time prior to dives.
• 5 dives completed over 2 days.
• You may choose to combine this course with a specialty.
• Core dives are Deep Dive and Navigation Dive, we also conduct Peak Performance Buoyancy as a core dive.

Duration & Schedule

• 2 days minimum.
• Course involves 5 ocean dives.
• These dives may be accumulated over any period of time.
• Courses commence daily.

The cost of the course includes:

• All latest scuba equipment (excluding snorkelling gear)
• Boat dives x 5
• Light refreshments
• PADI manual and data slate, worth $75
• Airfills
• Internationally recognised certification.

Not Included:

• Your own personal snorkelling gear (mask, snorkel & fins).  WH&S recommend that each person uses their own personal items to reduce the possibility of disease transmission, however they are available for hire at $50 for course duration.

Refund Policy

• Deposit of $100 required to secure place
• Cancellation or reschedule of dates - inside 7 days - $100
• No refunds once course is underway.
